STOLEN POLICECAR Rejoined By THE CROWN Bassist
May 6, 2010Eight months after he left the band due to "a lack of time and inspiration," bassist Magnus Olsfelt (THE CROWN) has rejoined Swedish heavy rockers STOLEN POLICECAR. The group states, "We're damn pleased that Magnus quitting STOLEN POLICECAR in the end turned out to be a couple of months off. Yeah, our dude is back, more welcome than ever."
STOLEN POLICECAR released its debut album, "Oh No!! It's A...Stolen Policecar", in March 2009 via Ziekte-NL. The CD was recorded and mixed at Studio MT with producer Marko Tervonen (ANGEL BLAKE, THE CROWN).
Tervonen previously stated about the album: "From a producer's point of view, I must say that the album is simply phenomenal. I have always had a huge respect for Magnus as a songwriter and this time the man is fucking peaking. And the whole band is a very strong unit. We recorded 14 songs and the end result is a pretty diverse album with sounds from punk, rock, metal, Seattle... to... simply timeless rock anthems. Every damn song kills!!! And Marcus, the singer... what a great rock vocalist!
